Letters of support...
We've had some really touching letters of support from people who have personal experience of living with, or caring for people with diabetes. The over-riding comment is that Diabetes is so misunderstood by so many.
Here are just a couple of the responses we've had:
"What an excellent idea guys, good on you, I will help support in anyway possible its a Charity that needs awareness raised for it and I have many people who are close to me who are affected by it, people do not always realise the trial and tribulations of living with it, so good on you guys I really hope you achieve the 10k that you are aiming for."
"I think it is fabulous that you will be doing this “crazy plan”! My mother has diabetes and is currently recovering at home after being rushed into hospital with severe ketone poisoning - watching someone you care about in a diabetic coma is awful and the after care needed takes its toll. So I am fully behind you in this fundraising event - I have forwarded the email to all I know plus if there is anything else we can do to support just let us know."
