Woe is me... and my boat
Disaster for the London2Brighton challenge - during transport from Poole to Hayling, the mast caught a bridge and is now in 3 pieces...
Steve (Hobie Cat Centre) is urgently preparing a new mast for us, but it's another weekend out and a lot of cost which I hadn't planned for - not sure the insurance will pay out for it unfortunately as it was avoidable...
It's bloody bad luck, but we are not going to let it stop us, in fact it make me more determined to raise the money to make it all worth while. Please, please if you haven't already sponsored us, do it now, and pass on the message to anyone who you think might be interested in helping us out on this challenge!
