UPDATE - The Challenge is on
.... the boys left at 06:31am this morning, and are on their way to Brighton Pier. The wind forcast is light so their ETA could be anytime after 8.30pm today. Please follow Matt and Simon during their challenge. You can do this by using the MarineTrack link on this website. Don't forget to sponsor Matt and Simon, if you haven't done already. It was a very early start this morning. We all saw the sun rise and it took approx 2 hours to get both boats into the water. thanks to the kind members of the Gravesend Sailing Club!!!! Due to the Thames Barrier being closed due to adverse weather conditions over night, Simon and Matt had to call round and find a new start location for this challenge. Gravesend Sailing Club agreed happily to help us, and have been instrumental in getting this challenge started on time today. We couldn't have done this without them and want to say a huge THANK YOU to them for all their support.
