The Hobie Cat Centre are providing the challenge with kit, training and support for the event, as well as their extensive advice on long distance Hobie racing.

The Hobie Cat Centre Training Programme - The Hobie Cat Centre offers training for all abilities from beginners to advanced sailors.

• BEGINNERS - The complete training program offered by The Hobie Cat Centre can take you from a complete beginner to an accomplished cat sailor. The Centre offers a combination of structured RYA courses combined with practice on rental boats and private tuition, have as much or as little help as you need along the way. The Centre can also help you decide which is your ideal cat at the end of the course.
• DINGHY SAILORS AND WINDSURFERS - If you already have good ' wind awareness ' we can help you to transfer your skills onto a cat in just one day. Those of you who have sailed cats before using similar techniques to those used on a dinghy will probably think that the cat is a difficult beast, but using the techniques we can teach you in a 1 day cat conversion course you will be amazed at how easy they are to tame.
• IMPROVERS AND ADVANCED SAILNG TECHNIQUES - If you are already a cat sailor who is looking to improve your sailing perhaps with a view to racing, the Hobie Cat Centre can help you. You can choose either private tuition on one of our range of cats, or try our 2 day Spinnakers and advanced Boat Handling Course.

All of the staff at the Hobie Centre are experienced Hobie Cat sailors, dividing their time between racing, teaching and sailing for pure fun. This means that they are well equipped to guide you towards your perfect cat, just let us know what kind of sailing you would like to do, who with and where. After Sales
Once you have bought your boat we want to make sure that you get the best out of sailing it- The following services are all available as after sales care once you have bought your new cat.

* We will show you how to rig and de-rig your boat
* We will take you out for a handover sail.
* We will show you how to de-rig your boat to load onto a road trailer or roof-rack.
* Any further tuition that you require can be arranged with the Hobie Cat Centre at a preferential rate for boat purchasers- Have a look at the training page on our website to see what is available. Training can even be carried out on your own boat.
